The elegant MUTIARA LAUT is a unique 46m long and 9m wide liveaboard with a design based on a traditional British schooner, combined with elements of the Indonesian “phinisi”. With over 850m2 of sail, she boasts real sailing capabilities while coming equipped with modern engines and generators and all the latest in safety equipment and instrumentation. Built for comfort, she offers year-round diving and leisure trips in far-flung areas of the Indonesian archipelago that are known for some of the best diving in the world.
Throughout the year, MUTIARA LAUT extensively explores the spectacular dive sites of Raja Ampat with 10- or 11-night diving trips. As part of the Coral Triangle, the “Four Kings” of Raja Ampat offer something for every diver and with its incredible variety of fish, stunning scenery and pristine beaches, Raja will never disappoint. MUTIARA LAUT also travels far off the beaten track in search of the hidden wonders both above and below the waters of Ambon and Halmahera in the Moluccas, the whale sharks of Cenderawasih and the astounding diversity of Triton Bay, and all the way to the Banda Islands and Alor. Hassle-free diving is assured by professional dive guides and two tenders, while Nitrox and dive gear rental is available at a surcharge.
Topside, MUTIARA LAUT is tastefully decorated and caters to 14 guests in 7 cabins. The 6 Deluxe Cabins come with double beds, ample storage space, individually controlled airconditioning and en-suite bathrooms. The spacious Master Cabin is located at the stern of the boat and offers a double bed and an open-plan shower with double vanities.
Social areas include a cozy indoor salon and dining room, a spacious al-fresco dining area and a sundeck with lounge chairs. Much attention to detail has been given to the meals, with a varied menu of gourmet dishes served either on plate or buffet-style. Special dietary requirements are readily catered for upon request.
