Where to go…Phang Nga Bay
What’s there?
A mainly protected National Park, called the Ao Phang Nga National Park, It is a shallow 400km² Bay, situated between the island of Phuket and the mainland, with 42 islands. The bay is known for the distinctive limestone rock formations rising out of the sea and is a stunning place to visit.
Why?
The cliffs, islands and cave systems make up one of the most striking and beautiful bays in Thailand. It is also home to the famous Ko Tapu Island, known as James Bond Island, made famous by the film “The Man with the Golden Gun”
How do I get there?
Pick up your yacht charter in Phuket and sail north up to the Ao Phang National Park
What will I do?
Anchor off the islands and enjoy the quality snorkelling and diving. Take in the amazing scenery of limestone cliffs, caves, collapsed cave systems and archaeological sites. Explore the sea caves and their interior lagoons by sea canoes or hire a longtail.
