Scuba Diving Charters in Thailand

One of our most popular charter yachts, the luxury catamaran 52F BLUE MOON, is now offering a special deal for rendez-vous diving charter arrangements. Why not make the most of diving in the incredible Thai waters from your own luxury yacht?

Where can we take you for an unforgettable diving experience?

We have a variety of amazing diving destinations to choose from, and our experienced charter team can help you select the best itinerary to suit you.

Ao Nang Islands

The Ao Nang Islands are home to a number of different rock islands with many different dive sites to choose from. Visibility varies between 5-10 metres and sites are known for incredible sealife including seahorses, nudibranchs, cleaning stations, schools of snappers, barracudas and often Kuhl’s stingray are waiting in the sand. There are also swim-throughs and tunnels for the more experienced divers! There are also a few wrecks here though these are also only suitable for advanced divers. Most sites suit all levels of divers; the maximum depth is approx. 22 metres and this area is perfect for macro photography. You can dive the Ao Nang Islands all year round, though sometimes with limited visibility – our specialist charter team can advise you on the best time to visit.

Bida Island

Bida Islands

These are the two most southern Islands of Phi Phi and as beautiful and famous as their rival, the Similan Islands. Visibility is usually great here and the stunning view of the majestic limestone rocks plunging into the clear water is an experience in itself. Here you’ll find shallow reefs, dramatic walls and pinnacles and coral fields with more life than you can imagine – sometimes you can even encounter leopard sharks. During the green season waves can be experienced, and it is not possible to dive these sites, but you expect good conditions from November to May.

Koh Haa Yai

Koh Haa Marine Park

Closed from May – November Marine park fee applicable 600 THB per person

Koh Haa Yai is part of the Lanta Marine National Park and is one of the most amazing spots for diving. This destination offers stunning visibility about 25m or more and rates as great as the Similan Islands. You will have the chance to see a  lot of different species including turtles, squid, sea snakes and much more.

In the Phi Phi Islands marine park you will find coral gardens, dramatic wall dives, beautiful bays and a rich marine life, which means a chance to see our larger friends like the leopard shark or even turtles! Around the Phi Phi islands you will find the most incredible variety of marine life. Visibility in high season from November – May is usually between 15-25 metres and the maximum depth around Phi Phi is 30 metres. In green season visibility is less and we often only dive on the eastern sites, due to the strong winds during this period. One site well worth a visit is the Kled Gaeow wreck – this 47 m long wreck was sunk on purpose to create a new dive site around the Phi Phi islands. Previously the Kled Gaeow functioned as an auxiliary vessel – a transport support and stores ship designation AKS 861 – but now it rests peacefully at 29 metres and has become home to many different corals and fish.

Shark Point Area – for advanced divers only

The King Cruiser was a car ferry that sank after striking Anemone Reef, the only hazard to ships within miles of open sea… Now it rests peacefully at 32 metres and is home to a wide variety of sea life and coral. You can also enjoy the nearby Anemone Reef, which gets its name from all the Anemones which covers this pinnacle. The Reef starts at 5 metres and the maximum depth is approximately 25 metres. Your last stop on this dive is Shark Point, where only one of the three pinnacles breaks the surface, and where the beacon is located. Under the surface you will find diversity in corals and fish like no other site in this area.

Availability of these sites very much depend on wind or current conditions, and we do not recommend to dive there from May – November. Enjoy!
