Check in is fast and simple. All documents are prepared. The base Manager from the maintenance and boat technical handover are very knowledgeable and efficient. The chart briefing was great. Though I know the cruising area well, his input was very helpful.

The Lagoon 450 Shana is an awesome yacht. There is nothing missing, she is in perfect condition and well maintained. The yacht is easy to handle. Though many think the raised Flybridge results in reduced sails, she even sails lovely in light winds. The two engines are powerful enough to run at 2000 RPM and still move the yacht at 7kn. She hardly consumes much diesel at this level. With the generator, water maker, multiple fridges and freezers, there is nothing missing. The yacht is the ultimate floating villa of its size.

For those who have not cruised around Phuket, I can only recommend to come and enjoy this outstanding and well developed cruising area. With Simpson Marine at Ao Po you are perfectly serviced, with great support, new yachts and already near the first attractions once you leave the port. We had a great holiday. I took my crew to Koh Similian and Koh Surin. Koh Surin is a bit more remote, but absolutely worth the 2 days to get there. Because we had such a great yacht we extended our stay at Koh Surin from 2 to 5 days and just had a great time…. and believe me, we would have stayed even longer before returning towards Koh Similian and Phuket.’’
