Luxury catamaran Lagoon Seventy 7 S/Y JOY joins the charter fleet, bookings open

Simpson Yacht Charter is delighted to announce that the sailing catamaran flagship from Lagoon Catamarans, the iconic Seventy 7 JOY, has joined the company’s growing catamaran charter fleet and will be available as one of the very few Seventy 7s for luxury crewed charters in the Mediterranean starting from August 2018.

Due to launch in June 2018, S/Y JOY will spend her first charter season in the Western Mediterranean around Corsica and the French Riviera in between August-October 2018, after that she will join the ARC Transatlantic Rally in 2018 to cross the Atlantic and will be available for charters in the Caribbean in Winter/Spring 2018/19. Summer 2019 will see JOY chartering in the Mediterranean for the second time, before heading to Asia where her owner is based and where her future charter base will be located.

A particular highlight is the master cabin, which includes a large ensuite bathroom, desk space, walk in wardrobe and generous living area. Direct access from the main saloon and out to the cockpit and foredeck adds to the exclusivity of the master cabin space.

S/Y JOY’s Pre-launch charter rate is:

• Mediterranean (Aug. – Oct. 2018): 42,000 EUR per week, plus 25% APA + local tax
• Caribbean/BVI (Dec. 2018 – Apr. 2019): 48,000 – 52,000 EUR per week, all-inclusive package for 4 – 8 guests. Christmas and New Year rates increase by 15%.
