S/Y NOMAD is a Mikado Grande Croisieres 56 foot long schooner, Carefully built by the renowned  Chantiers naval Constructions Nautiques du Sud-Ouest (FRANCE), and designed by Michel Bigoin, a French naval architect famous for designing luxury yachts such as superyachts XARGO, Attila, or the 75m Phocea.

In spite of her 56′, and being one of the smallest yachts designed by Michel Biggoin, “Nomad” packs many of the superyacht features while remaining easy to handle. Her interesting layout and maximizing use of her space make her an ideal skippered charter vessel. Walter and Monika – her previous builders and owners for the past 30 years, a charming Swiss couple, sailed her more than 100,000 nautical miles around the world, from the Arctic to the South Pacific.

She has an overnight guest capacity of 6 plus Captain and Steward. Each stateroom has a queen or double-sized berth with high-quality linens, excellent natural ventilation and/or Air Conditioning, reading lights, USB and electrical European style plugs (We have converters for North American voltage). Private heads are adjacent or adjoined to each stateroom and feature electric flushing toilets, sink, mirrors and hot water showers.

The attractive and luxurious deck saloon is furnished with solid timber throughout. A comfortable curving settee in beige leather is the perfect spot to enjoy a 360-degree view over the ocean. Or head up to the large aft cockpit – possibly the largest of any boat her size – fully shaded from the sun or tropical showers, perfect for at fresco dining for 8, or 12 for cocktail parties and evening buffets, all with uninterrupted ocean views and sultry breezes.

Her separate galley is fully equipped with a gas and electric oven, microwave, coffee maker, blender, kettle, toaster, fridge and freezer enabling the Chef to prepare delicious meals. Her onboard water maker ensures ample fresh water is always available.

S/Y NOMAD’s capacity allows us to haul all the fun water toys including attender with 25 Hp outboard, snorkelling gear, paddleboards, fishing gear, and other toys. She is the perfect monohull sailing yacht to offer great value sailing charter trips in Thailand, Malaysia and other Southeast Asia regions.
