Equipped with five guest cabins – four with queen size beds plus one smaller cabin with two single bunks, BLUE MOON is suitable for overnight stay at any private beaches or azure waters of Thailand. All cabins have en suite washrooms plus there are separate facilities for the crew. The Lagoon 52F has an exceptional amount of space thanks to a generous beam (8.6m) and a full flybridge allowing for many indoor, covered and outdoor dining, lounging and sunbathing areas. Sailors will appreciate Lagoon’s latest innovations including a taller mast placed further aft allowing for a larger self-tacking foresail and a shorter, easier to manage boom. Interiors are bright and airy thanks to large windows, high ceilings and light-colours. Large, strategically placed hatches and port holes add light and ventilation throughout. Amenities include a 32” television (salon), Bose speakers (salon, cockpit and flybridge), air conditioning, Nespresso Lattissima Touch coffee machine, fresh water electric toilets, heated deck shower, clothes washer/dryer, dishwasher, water maker and bright blue underwater lights.

After experiencing such a fantastic time on board Blue Moon back in November for a 50th birthday celebration we decided to book again for new year! We spent 4 days and 3 nights sailing around the Andaman sea on the beautiful catamaran (Blue Moon), visited amazing beaches, and quiet spots that were picked by the extremely knowledgeable Captain Yim. Besides that, we also visited Phangna bay, Phi phi and Racha islands amongst others.
What really made the trip special for us apart from the amazing places and beautiful boat were the crew onboard the Lagoon 52. Captain Yim and Chef Nong made both trips truly wonderful with their friendly personalities, amazing cooking skills, and local knowledge combined with general niceness. Captain Yim taught the children how to fish, and after catching several Tuna, chef Nong made sashimi. The entire experience was fantastic. Both of them were amazing with the children and the entire family felt very comfortable and safe with them looking after us. We cannot speak highly enough of them.
Boarding and briefing was done very efficiently and professionally by Craig from Simpson Yacht Charter who also gave us a lot of great local tips. After a fantastic trip in November, the team at Simpson Yacht Charter surpassed themselves so much this second time that we are planning to return again later in the year for a longer yacht charter trip to Penang and Singapore.
Wonderful experience all round which we would highly recommend to anyone looking for a holiday of a lifetime. Definitely deserves a 10/10.

I am back to work today and I still cannot express how much we have enjoyed the weekend. The fact I was able to show my friends a little piece of the life at the ocean, was already amazing. However from the moment we arrived until we left the crew did an amazing job and we have never felt at 1 moment hungry, thirsty or not being taken care of.
They did a great job and the yacht itself was very well maintained, clean, and I was happy the wind was good enough to have a great sail at some point as well. The captain seemed to be very well known in the area and I wasn’t doubting at any point if we would get the most out of the days. He brought us to the ‘prime spots’ for a bit – but knew also how to avoid the touristic feels, which was great. We felt like the only ones at the most beautiful beaches and that added so much in the exclusive feel we were aiming for. Simply amazing.
The weather was amazing, we have been so lucky – we just missed the wind/storms and that was a big plus. Only rain we had was the first night arrival.
Furthermore the provisioning came out perfectly, which makes me happy too – we nearly came out perfect with the drinks and food wise we never came short. The chef was amazing – I left everything up to her and she read our minds perfectly well, my guest were very much impressed.
Once again, thank you so much and I truly hope to come back, it is so hard to be back on land and make my own coffee again.

We are happy to return with a charter holiday with Simpson Yacht Charter and this time we spent a week on board of Blue Moon, a brand new Lagoon 52 in January 2018 with five friends.
Everything was perfect, from the cruise preparation to the arrival road transport and all the way till the end of the charter cruise.
The boat was perfectly prepared and equipped by the team, with specially made Blue Moon products. The food was excellent with a mix of Thai and western food and the staff on board were very professional and friendly.
Additionally, the skipper even show us some rare places near Kho Lanta, with the very convenient tender, adding much joy to our holiday.
It was our first journey on board of Blue Moon and certainly not the last.
